Privacy.
What we store about you, why, and how to have it removed. Last changed 29 September 2026.
What we store
- Your login name and password. The password is stored as a one-way hash; nobody can read it back, including us.
- Your email address, when you registered, and whether and when you confirmed the address.
- Whether you want news from us, and when you said so. It is off unless you tick the box.
- Your characters and what happens to them in the game, including fights, which we record to balance PvP.
Why
- To run your account and let you back in if you lose your password.
- To send you news about MUnolith, only if you asked for it and confirmed your address. Every such email has a link to stop them.
- To keep the game fair: fight records tune the balance and help us find cheaters.
Where it lives
On our own server in the EU (Hetzner). We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't sell your data.
Our emails are delivered by Brevo, an email service in France. It gets your email address and the message, only to deliver it. It also counts whether our emails are opened and their links clicked; that can't be switched off, so we set it to anonymous: the counts aren't tied to your address. Nobody else gets your data.
How long
As long as your account exists. Ask us and we delete your account and your email address.
Your rights
You can ask what we store about you, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent to news at any time. Write to us on Discord or at privacy@munolith.com.
